2. Systems management:
Your board and staff may need assistance setting up systems to build a major gifts program. Creating these systems includes:
- Ensuring that your donor database is optimally configured for storing of research and manipulation of data.
- Establishing best practices.
- Teaching staff how to use data effectively and efficiently.
- Helping your board and volunteers prioritize and systematically review all leads.
- Coaching your board of directors on proven, successful solicitation strategies so that they can be positioned to "make the ask," and accompanying them on selected asks when appropriate and necessary.
